Dominated the first half with some decisive football especially in and around the box. With hindsight one could say we should have scored more in this period but being two up at the half all were delighted and looking for the same in the second half. Alas the second half started with our usual punt down the sidelines, thus giving the ball straight back to the opposition. After such a good first half Hitchin lost their way in a non eventful second half. As they say “ a win is a win is a win” and so it`s 3 points in the bag and another away win.
Some bright spark mentioned that we perhaps need to score more as goal difference might be very vital come the end of the season.
