Bromsgrove, as expected of a home team, started better and went ahead. Hitchin gradually got back into the game and having equalised were better towards the end of the first half. The second half was an even affair. The home team finished stronger but were denied a win by some very good defending by Hitchin. Honours even at the end and a fair result.
