Whatever happens.....
Who knows how the rest of this season will pan out but if we continue to play the way that MJ has introduced I, for one, will be proud of the team. You can see the determination from all involved & he's got the team playing some entertaining football. The Telford game epitomised that. Yes we have had & might have again the occasional off day. That's football but we have a young team, old man Gleason excepted
, who are learning all the time. I heard LB say to someone at the end of the Telford game that we need to start winning games. This, of course, is true but I would say don't put pressure on yourselves. Just keep playing good football, learn from any mistakes & we will get there. My partner's son-in-law is a die hard Luton Town season ticket holder & I was at his house on Boxing Day watching them lose to Bristol City. Pretty much throughout the game he was complaining of lack of effort from the team which, apparently, has been the case in most of their away games. In all the games with MJ at the helm I can't say that about us. Because of that the fans are behind the lads to the end, which doesn't appear to be the case at Luton at the moment. So I say, whatever happens, it will have been an entertaining ride & provide a great platform to go forward next season.

Pessimists are never disappointed.

Look at it another way.
If you're serious about a fight to avoid relegation then there has to be some pressure. If you're not, then no pressure.
Last season, by the time they came to us in January, Long Eaton United had already accepted relegation. They played with no pressure and beat us. And got relegated.
I am sure we have not accepted relegation, in which case there will be pressure because results have to be achieved. In a nutshell.....18 games left. Win 9 of them and we'll have 48 points which should be enough.
That is realistic seeing some of the teams we have still to play, and the way we are playing we should be confident.

Silence is assent.
