What a cracking first half by Hitchin. From the off we were decisive going forward causing Bedford all sorts of problems. Unfortunately we are unable to capitalise on such pressure and went in only 1-0 at the break which was never going to be enough. The second half was even with Bedford winning more 50-50 challenges, their subs playing better than the original lineup. Hitchin had their chances but again falling to the back post headed goal and a slip in defence. People will say we deserved to win or at least get a point by the way we played but it`s goals that win games and we must find the net more often.
