Although us fans will be disappointed with the result,nobody will be more so than Brett, as he knows his team will, and can play much better.Under the circumstances with so many players unavailable, there was still a team selection that was capable of taking on Bromsgrove. However, the pressing game that Brett demands wasn't there,we couldn't hold the ball up, and put pressure on their centre backs,unlike ours who were constantly under pressure.
Thought our best period, was the 10mins before halftime, a pity that they scored in injury time,we had a few moments in the second half but to no avail.Bromsgrove looked like a team that had played together, but I didn't think they were that good,and under pressure they looked vunerable. On the day the better side one, but I think at times, we made it far to easy for them.

I think we lost it in midfield but there was plenty to be encouraged about.

I so want this to go well for Brett. He's Hitchin through and through, and no one will want this to work more than him.
