Looks like a much better performance than when these teams last met, but another last goal conceded. On the brighter side we still hav not lost away.

Congratulations to the prediction winners:

An absolutely excellent performance against the top of the table side. Chalk and cheese to the meek cup defeat a few short weeks ago. Confidence seems to be high amongst all of the players, with everyone wanting the ball and playing positively. Bossed the first half, forcing their keeping into one very good save from Kane, then another block after a cracking cross in from the left. We had them penned in, and it was relentless possession. I'd like to see us shoot from the edge of the box more. But we had the upper hand.
Second half was more of the same, and it seemed Biggleswade's only real chance of scoring was if we made a mistake.
Bell Toxtle had a great game in the middle, but had to score early on from about 6 yards. When the goal came it was a superb move of pace and precision. Franklin's cross from the right and Morrall who ran all night, to tuck it in. Whilst I thought a second was needed, in all honesty Biggleswade did not look like scoring. Until they did! A bit of game management in injury time was needed, and with the clock ticking to 95 of 96 minutes a silly foul inside the box cost us two points. Naieve play, and their lad sold two of ours a dummy before the foul. But overall a great watch. Oh for a 25 goal a season striker and we'd win this league. Is Rhiney that striker when he comes back from suspension? I'm not sure, but I reckon he'd have scored in this game as we put in some superb crosses from both flanks.
Biggleswade were excellent hosts, and I guess you can see why they are top if they can eek out points when not playing well. Onwards and upwards, but defo significant progress in a short time.
