Re: Biggleswade/Redditch

I really enjoyed the Redditch game. The atmosphere was great, especially when Harry Titchmarsh's opener went in. Wasn't at the Biggleswade game and listened via the excellent HTFC Radio commentary but it sounded very disjointed especially in the first half. Great to get back to back wins and we are ...

Re: Butchering the FA Cup

Agreed Chris

A replay for a non league club away at a really big club is the equalivant of a win financially.

Re: Happy New Year

Hi MJcanary and Happy New Year. As far as I am aware the game is still on. The club choose only to give updates via Twitter/X and there is nothing on the HTFC or Barwell FC pages to say there is a pitch inspection or there was any doubt about the game. As a match day volunteer I would usually get an...

Re: Prediction - STAMFORD

Perhaps I shouldn't say this but the officials were appalling. Who's going to sort out this disgraceful officiating. Ban me if you like. Hi Jon I am the forum administrator and have been for some years now, I'm not sure why you should feel that you will be banned and I'm quite disappointed that sup...

Re: Prediction - HARBOROUGH

Normally when it's International Weekend and we get a decent crowd we fail to rise to the occasion however yesterday everything went right. To be fair to Harborough they can feel a little aggrieved at the score line but the difference was we put some of our chances away where our debutant loanee kee...

Re: Biggleswade

Too be fair I don't think the referees assistants did too much wrong. Referee... Would rather focus on us. Much more positive and encouraging performance. After weathering the first twenty minutes when Biggleswade looked quick and more likely to score I thought we had our best period of the game, cr...

Re: On Brett being sacked

Twenty Four hours later after reading the club statement and I'm still not sure what to say. There is no doubt it has been a difficult tenure for Brett but given all the circumstances, inheriting a team that had suddenly gone from play-off candidates to not being able to string two passes together, ...

Re: Alternative Report v Spalding

Chris N would call it 'Win Ugly'. It was scrappy, hard fought, not a lot of quality football but it was 3 points and rightly celebrated like we had one a cup. Spalding were tough, uncomprimising and although all the Hitchin bookings were correct decisions, the ref seemed to allow Spalding plenty of ...
